History

Mucklagh Community Development CLG formed in 2009, with the aim to build a community centre in Mucklagh. Rev David Hutton Bury kindly donated the site to the community to build Mucklagh Community Centre and turned the first sod in August 2013. 

Thanks to all the hard work, dedication, fundraising, support and volunteering by the community, Mucklagh Community Centre opened it's doors for it's first public event in 2016. The community centre was officially opened in May 2019, by Rev David Hutton Bury, and has been the hub of Mucklagh ever since.
